Yard birds

Yesterday in the bird bath was an Eastern Bluebird (gorgeous adult male), which was the first I've seen in the yard this year and the usual steady procession of Chipping Sparrows and Mourning Doves. This morning, a Yellow-billed Cuckoo calling, along with an Indigo Bunting and Scarlet Tanager. Also a Chestnut-sided Warbler singing and singing - maybe nesting here this year? Caught the House Wren in the Hav-a-Heart trap the other day. Didn't seem to upset him any; he's still singing his heart out, looking for a mate to share his lovely house - "For wrent - for a song!"
